The BIZCOVERY Framework is build around the well-known Emergency Management Cycle, which consist of four recurring interrelated phases: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.
- THE MITIGATION PHASE – is focussed on identifying credible incident scenarios as they apply to your business, and how those scenarios could impact on your business operations.
- THE PREPAREDNESS PHASE – is where you identify Critical Business Information, Emergency Contacts and prepare a Contingency Location Map, and create your Action Cards. All this information will be pushed to the mobile app.
- THE RESPONSE PHASE – is not about getting back to normal. It is about retaining some level of business operations in the immediate aftermath of an incident. This is here where your Action Cards come into play.
- THE RECOVERY PHASE – is about getting your business back to normal, however, BIZCOVERY is not designed for this phase. Here you could take advantage of a well prepared Business Continuity and Recovery Plan.
To make the process of creating Action Cards more easy for you, we have divided your Critical Business Activities into five categories: PEOPLE, PREMISES, PROCESSES, PROVIDERS, AND PROFILE.
Each of these five categories contain a number of pre-set scenarios, also called Business Critical Functions. it is from here you create specific Action Cards as they apply to your business.
